Description: Wauconda Middle School added a fitness center to create excitement around physical activity and to help keep their 460 students active. Along with Life Fitness treadmills and elliptical cross-trainers, they chose Life Fitness Circuit Series, an easy-to-use strength line with push-button resistance selection, to meet the needs of their young users. They included strength equipment in the fitness center based on the American Academy of Pediatrics’ report recommending strength training as the best form of exercise to combat childhood obesity.
